Winter Youth Jazz Festival
Music Is Art is an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for young musicians. They organize concerts, festivals, meetups and more.
The poster is for their Winter Youth Jazz Festival. The poster is split into four sections for each of the parts of a jazz band. In ascending order, these sections are the rhythm section, the woodwind section, the vocal section and the brass section. The information is illuminated by stage lights and the logo is framed by the instruments. Lastly, The QR code and the logo of Music Is Art are found in opposite corners to balance the composition.
Target Audience
Parents in their late 40s who have children in middle and/or high school that are affiliated with an instrument, band or musical class. These parents are likely to have had musical interests in the past or are simply supporting their children.
